It is possible to collect and store Personal Information in the OPTIWARE products, and the usage of the products are thus covered by the GDPR.
GDPR specifically defines two roles with different legal obligations: Data Controller and Data Processer. When using OPTIWARE products installed On Premise, then the Customer is acting as both Data Controller and Data Processor and are thus sole responsible for the compliance with GDPR.

The OPTIWARE products are developed with a high focus on privacy and data protection and contains build-in functionality for ensuring protection of the end user’s personal data. If additional technical solutions are needed for the Customer to comply with specific parts of GDPR then OPTIWARE can assist with consultancy services and technical development, which will be invoiced according to standard fees.
